The Retail Council undertakes a leadership position representing a single voice for the top retailers in Australia.

The organisation is a thought-leader and policy advocate for the development and support of public policy at a federal and state level that will boost productivity, support employment growth, foster a competitive environment and ultimately make the sector stronger.

The Retail Council works with members to shape policy that sets our leadership position.

The advocacy work of the Retail Council includes direct representation to governments providing a single voice for retail on key public policy issues.
